"Review of Broadway Creek Assisted Living I had mixed experiences with Broadway Creek Assisted Living when it came to the care of my mom. Her first stay was adequate, but her second stay fell short of expectations. On the positive side, Broadway Creek offers a variety of activities that could be engaging for residents, and there are some truly wonderful staff members who go above and beyond in their roles. However, it's evident that a significant portion of the work is carried by just 20% of the staff, which can affect the overall quality of care. Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our experience. We frequently noticed that call lights were not answered in a timely manner, often taking more than 30 minutes. Additionally, the cleanliness of her room was inconsistent and did not meet our standards. "Tours are very misleading and I feel Brookdale sales manager “over promotes” this place in her sales pitch. She is very nice and good at her job. I have observed no activities 95% or more of the time for memory care residents despite a monthly posted activities schedule. No music or entertainment noted. No exercise-like classes provided. No bingo, arts and crafts, movies night etc which is so important for one’s mental health. Rooms aren’t cleaned under the beds or chairs etc. and the window sills need attention; Tours guide shows you a clean room. Staff should hand the residents a beverage of choice b/w meals as the residents forget to hydrate, some don’t like water which I noticed is only offered in a cooler that is self serve. Sadly, many residents rarely have visitors, but a few have regular visitations. Some aides do not engage with the residents unless they have to but others are great!
