The skill nursing home was added in 2003 and has 50 beds. Nurses are on site 24-hours a day. Medical offices are located within walking distance of Singleton Heath Care for routine, preventative screenings and well visits. Therapy services provided on site include occupational, speech and physical. Residents are provided three meals a day and two snacks. Daily life can consist of a cooking class or a fitness session. "I was the guardian of an elderly gentleman. In August of this year, I moved him to Cedar Living. I cannot say enough good things about the care he received and the staff. They were wonderful. When he did not like the food, they would order special menus for him. They would make special meals for him. They would take him outside - even when he didn't want to go. The fresh air was great for him. Because the facility small - 0nly 16 patients - they were in and out of his room several times an hour cheering him up. He died last week, and Dereck H., the director, sent flowers and he and at least 6 members of the staff came to the funeral. I cannot say enough good things about Cedar Living. It's a wonderful facility with kind and caring staff. I plan to stop from time to time, just to visit and bring some treats for the staff.
