"It is never easy to place your loved one in someone else's care. Kingston of Perrysburg is one of the best places that we found. First for rehab and then skilled nursing. Every single employee is polite, courteous and they all really do care about each and every patient/resident. The big plus is consistent employees who love what they do. Choosing the right people is an art that the Director has perfected. It is a team effort, and it works. Consistent care by the same nurse and the trained assistants is a big plus for patients. We were very happy and comfortable going home and knowing that our brother was in good hands. I can honestly say that the employees at Kingston truly do care about their patients and our brother was, at times, a real handful. God Bless each and every one of you for not ever giving up on him. "We're having a disappointing experience at Spring Hills Singing Woods. The dementia programming is nonexistent. Staff is not trained to cope with dementia behaviors. To date, they have not lived up to any of the standards proclaimed on their website. There is no weekly housekeeping service, family care conferences, multidisciplinary team care, food is often served cold. "this place is a NIGHTMARE!!!!! aides do no shows quite often on 3rd shift leaving nurse alone to take care of entire building. meds very often late, sometimes skipped. understaffed. aide just tried to give me the meds & left out two different meds ... irefused to take any of them because she argued they were there when pbviously they were not. then after i called 911 and emts left she cane back in with two of the missing meds but then had the presnisone screwed cuz she only had two .5 mg and a half & its supposed to be 20 mg ... the 20 mg was there the 1st time ...then the 2nd time it wasnt, so i refused to take any at all. she kept insisting i was going to throw the pills at her. i told her to her face she us a liar !!!! then she did not have also the Blood pressure omesarten nor the isisorbide pill. theyre causing me to be bedridden & in pain.
