"Awful!!!!! RUN, DO NOT WALK, to the nearest exit!!! Get out fast. I don’t really even want to give them a one star, but it’s the lowest rating they allow. This God forsaken place was a nightmare once it became Silver Springs with Cura Living managing it. And don’t believe the good reviews or the company’s responses to the concerns everyone is sharing. They don’t attempt to change their ways and have only increased prices and decreased services. If the smell doesn’t hit you when you enter the memory care unit on the third floor, pay attention to it. My family members were not given proper care, even with me going there all the time. Complaining to the front office staff never helped. They truly don’t care about the residents wellbeing. It’s so sad. The fact that the STATE has issued them a PROVISIONAL LICENSE should speak volumes to those who aren’t aware of the situations going on there. "I would have given it six stars if possible. Everyone involved from initial tour to move-in, and after have been superb. We were treated with friendliness like family, professionalism, courtesy and respect. Lindsay, backed up by Audrey, answered all our e-mails in timely fashion with information requested. Gale was transferring from a poor short-term rehab. Melissa went above and beyond to do her initial assessment, coming in on her day off and her birthday to expedite transfer. Severe snowstorm in Delaware threatened transfer, but Morningside volunteered a driver to go down and pick her up if I was uncomfortable driving. I was ok driving, but greatly appreciated the backup plan. Kellee completed the check-in procedure with Gale, and made her feel welcome and at ease with all the paperwork. Treatment by everyone since check-in has continued to be excellent. I could go on and on, but I just wanted public to know how pleased we are with Morningside House. "One of my best friends works at Sunrise North Wales and I cannot tell you how much she takes her work "home" with her. This is a place where the staff truly care about the residents and work together as a team. I have been out to dinner where she is texting with her colleagues about a resident who is struggling and it just warms my heart. "We picked this place for our 80 yr old mother for it's appearance and thought the careplan was gonna be xtra in caregiving; it being the first week we experienced being her caregivers, since our mother is transitioning, that Being said, we initiated for our mother to eat in dining area and activities without being approached. Our outlook has been pros/cons with medication being on time and if we were not present 'if our mother would even get attention or know what she can do. I feel if we were not present on these days our mother would go without food or even to know what to do.
