"The pricing at this facility is simply out of control and they've just raised it all again! The latest increase is tacking on another $4 grand a year. Theres no nexus seen to their higher rates and improved services. It's really quite the opposite. Management has reduced staffing on nights, weekends and holidays to level of one staff per floor. Waits exist for response. Nobody is really in charge and there is no supervision. Overtime is abused that wears out staff doing the most work and inflating care costs. Adding fuel to fire, about 2 of 3 staff are new, inexperienced and untrained. Thefts occur here consisting of Residents clothing, personal items and supplies. Two staff were recently fired for mishandling narcotic prescriptions. Accidents happen injuring Residents. There's lack of customer focus, food is terrible and care staff rules the roost! "As a previous resident for over 4 years the living experience at The Grove has deteriorated over time. Culinary is one of the less fortunate experiences. Limited food choices, service is inconsistent and dining experience needs to be overhauled. Executive. Manager is unprofessional and frustrated over how to remedy resident issues that need fixing. Very expensive for what you get. Expect rent increases of 5 to 10 percent every year. Positives include friendly staff, cleanliness and engagement activities. Manager does not process criticism well. "If your loved one needs any care other than food and a room and little medicine. May be ok. If they need assistance, avoid like the plague. Seemed Untrained, high turnover, I saw some residents left alone for hours. Meds were often late, activities were at times non-existent. Patients with any issues with walking could be stuck in a wheelchair. Help with feeding was hit and miss. They could lose weight fast. Its very sad. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
