The Grand Senior Living

From $4,490/mo

9300 Civic Way, Louisville, KY, 40059
Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living

"My mother has been in The Grand's assisted living facility for over a year. During this time, the caregiver staff has overturned frequently. There's seems to be no consistency in relaying information from weekday staff to weekend staff. Even after several attempts via email to management staff and talking directly with on site staff, needs are not being met. Simple things like helping her put hearing aids in charger at night, turning on lights in the morning and help with showering. The food was not bad at first, but after losing their chef and not hiring another for almost 8 months, the food got really bad, mostly fried. Certainly not healthy. They now finally hired a chef and the food is a little better, but still not appetizing. Maintenance is not very good. The water in the entire building was off for almost a whole day, then the gas was off for two days - no hot water and no cooking in the kitchen. For what we pay there - I expected a lot more attention." - kathy…
