"My mother (95 years old) was in another assisted living facility for the past two years. During this time she refused to eat with other residents in the cafeteria and ate all of her meals in her room by herself. She often told my sisters and I how lonely she was which broke our hearts. We made the decision to find a different facility that would be a better fit for her. After a significant amount of research I found Cranberry Park of Milford. I arranged for a personal visit and my sisters and I were very impressed at what we saw. We made the decision to move our mother there and a few months later she was in Cranberry Park. The changes have been AMAZING. My mother now voluntarily eats with the other residents. She raves about the food, the friendly staff, and how clean it is there. She is clearly much happier now. If you’re looking for a safe and comfortable place for your aging parents to live, I cannot recommend strongly enough Cranberry Park." - Greg… Read more

"Our 99-year-old mother is a resident of Addington Place of Clarkston. She told us that since she can no longer live at home, this is the next best place to live. The caring staff at Addington place take excellent care of her and the other residents. Although she is currently the oldest resident, everyone we meet there seems happy. Our mother likes the fact that she can have her own furniture in her room, and she thinks the food is delicious. On the rare occasion when she doesn’t like what is on the menu, she has several extra choices. We chose Addington Place because we were impressed with the wide range of activities available for residents. There are age-appropriate exercise activities, craft activities, movies, cooking demonstrations, weekly happy hour, bingo, and frequent visiting entertainers and presenters (including therapy dogs and other animals). Residents are taken on outings in the bus to places like the county fair and the Pine Knob Christmas light display. Addington has a" - Greg… Read more

"All the reviews are from years ago. They do not care about the residents. The staff there does not communicate, and the owner never comes to make sure things are running smoothly. This place should be shut down. I have been here multiple times within the last month and there isn't staff anywhere to be found. They state independent living, no some people here need extensive help and no one listens when reported they just want that buck. When a person complains, the blame is sent back to that person, they never take fault. This place has been reported to Medicare and such multiple times. Not a good place, stay away." - no… Read more
