Trustwell Living at Ridgeview Place

From $3,299/mo

12903 East Mission Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA, 99216
Assisted Living, Memory Care

"Our mom was here for 3 months. Caregivers are poorly trained and grossly understaffed. Staff are not trained in basic caregiving. Our mom could not walk or stand so she relied on the staff. Response time was 15 minutes or more and 30-45 minutes at night. Some of the caregivers were rude, and made my mom feel like she was bothering them when she pressed her pendant for assistance. Management did a horrible job monitoring their staff. Caregivers are understaffed and were preoccupied with other duties such as serving dinner, kitchen cleanup, laundry etc that helping residents suffered. Several times meals were missed or she was fed soup multiple meals in a row because they ran out of food from the dining room (If you eat in your room you are fed last). If your loved one needs extra assistance (showers, using the restroom, transfer in and out of bed), this is definitely NOT the place for them." - Janet…

South Hill Village

From $2,002/mo

3117 East Chaser Lane, Spokane, WA, 99223
Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living

"South Hill Village management is horrible. All they care about is the money they can receive from their residents. Watch out for their non refundable fee they quote to just belong to their community. It is a scam. I have heard them quote anywhere from $3,000 to $8,000 while pretending to do you a favor saying, "that they will help you out by taking it off your monthly rent but don't tell anybody because your family will be the only family receiving this great deal". There is no genuine care shown towards the residents at all. They are extremely understaffed. There is no acting nurse. The is no acting director of the whole property. The food program is not eatable. The same menu just keeps revolving week after week after week. The place is dirty with no basic cleaning of the floors, laundry rooms and bathrooms. South Hill's corporate office has no clue how the property is even ran. Their best effort is to just send in bodies and platoon most positions. My dad was there many years and to" - William…

"Recently my mother was admitted to Sunshine memory care faculty. I am very pleased with the personable care each staff member delivers to her. I was judicial in researching amenities and value based on her needs with vision impairment and dementia. Everyone is very kind - patient focused - and compassionate. Her meals are generous - her room and person are kept clean and medications are delivered on time/frequency. I’ve made a point to know most the staff and scrutinize everything snd everybody. I am grateful for each person part of her care - too many names to list. I am happy to be contacted if someone wishes. Thank you Sunshine for standing by mom on her final journey." - Eric…
