"would rate this “skilled” facility a zero if I could. ZERO compassion from ANYONE I came in contact with during my father’s 8 day stay. From the receptionist at the front desk who told my 75 yr old mother numerous lies why my father’s phone didn’t work in his room, to the nursing staff that did not attend to him well. I arrived one Sunday at 1215 and the aide stopped me and said I haven’t gotten a chance to check in your dad today, IT WAS AFTER NOON. He was in a wet diaper from the night before. My father needed assistance with getting to the toilet and he had waited quite a long time before help arrived when he told the nurse he had to use the restroom she replied back you will use the restroom when I tell you can. "I have a twin sister in this facility. I live 600 miles away. They do not answer the main phone at all when I call. They have put me through to her phone and it rings then goes busy. I found out she had no phone in her room so she could answer my calls. There is no way to reach nurses or anyone in facility. They do not return calls or messages I leave for Director. I left money at front desk for them to put in the facility bank. No account is presently opened in her name yet. It's been 4 months ago. Can't get finance person to call me back about money. I purchased nice clothes and put her name in them and they have all been stolen. They keep her in a permanent rag gown. She cannot walk so they never get her up. I handmade two quilts -- had her name in permanent marker on back. They are also stolen apparently by staff. They have brought terrible cold food to eat.
