I have been present when my family member has pushed the button and no one has shown up to see what the need is in a timely manner. I then went down the hall to see what the hold-up was, and three employees were standing in the hall chatting. I then asked one of them to come with me to respond to my family member's needs. "I beg you not to put your loved one in their memory care unit. When your loved one declines, the management will tell you they can no longer care for them and your loved one will be asked to leave. The salesperson is very sweet and will make many, many promises but none of them will be kept. When your loved one requires extra care because they have declined, they will be labeled undesirable and kicked out of the facility. I have witnessed this happen to 7 residents in the last month.
