What families are saying

We’ve gathered and summarized real family reviews from across the internet for you. Contact a CareScout representative for details.

Colonial Manor has received mixed reviews from visitors and residents. Some praise the community for its wonderful staff, clean and modern accommodations, and spacious rooms with large closets and shared kitchens. They highlight the value for money compared to other local options and appreciate the various activities offered, such as field trips and church activities. However, others have raised serious concerns about management and ownership issues, including multiple health care code violations, such as not providing proper meals, necessary medications, and basic sanitation. There are also complaints about delayed employee payments and W2s. Some reviewers warn against the facility, citing safety concerns, insufficient staff, and a lack of activities. They describe the environment as rundown and in need of maintenance, with some mental patients outnumbering assisted living residents. Despite these issues, some visitors were impressed during tours, noting the cleanliness and friendly staff, although the price was a limiting factor. Overall, while some have had positive experiences, others strongly advise against choosing Colonial Manor due to management problems and inadequate care.
