"Lovely facility outwardly. The food pictured on the website is nothing like what is served. Over cooked veggies, over salted soups, unappetizing, small portions. Great if you like cold French fries every day. Also, they do not adhere to the care plans because they are understaffed. Money is the first priority here, not people. "Our initial experience with Hearthside was fantastic. However, with the change of an administrator in July of 2025, we can now longer endorse this location. We moved our loved one to get better care. The main reason was that we had lost confidence in the current administrator. We found him to be rude, arrogant and condescending. He is very unapproachable, is rarely if ever in the community with residents and does nothing to build relationships with residents or residents families. Most of the time he is in his office with the door closed and blinds drawn.
