"I believe should go to cooking school. He will put a hot entre on an ice cold plate, because to has been plated long before the meal and they keep it in the fridge. They sometimes substitute without letting the residents know and then the serving staff take the displeasure from the residents, and sometimes we are really upset and not too nice to the servers. "Our Solstice has made considerable changes recently. We now have an efficient, caring staff. They each do their own jobs well, but they are always prepared to fill in somewhere else that they are needed, even to serving meals! There is constant action here for those who crave it, but no one is pressured to take part. We have an outstanding Physical Therapy staff. The grounds are lovely, with beautiful trees, walking paths and a pond crossed by a picturesque bridge. We have an energetic, creative head chef, good food and delightful young servers. "Lovely facility outwardly. The food pictured on the website is nothing like what is served. Over cooked veggies, over salted soups, unappetizing, small portions. Great if you like cold French fries every day. Also, they do not adhere to the care plans because they are understaffed. Money is the first priority here, not people.
