"If I could post less than one star, I would do so, as it would be more accurate than a one star review. The review disclaimer doesn't allow "allegations of negligence", which probably means that my review won't be posted, though I've been careful to not use those terms in my review. From the time my parent started living in memory care at WW, there has been an ongoing list of issues, particularly with inattentive staff, patient cleanliness and personal hygiene, minimal patient interaction, poor communication between staff and family members. For the price being paid ($13,000+monthly), a much higher level of service is to be expected, and WW has fallen far short of the mark. If you are looking for a high level of service and care for your family member, I urge you to not consider WW. My dog gets better care and treatment at the vet/kennel. Lip service to family concerns but no change in methods to address problems. Systemic failures from top Executive Director, to nursing to caregivers. "My aunt has been a resident here at Arbor Terrace for about 3 and a half years, basically since they opened. The care she receives is excellent and beyond reproach. The staff is compassionate and always professional. It as been a very difficult few years with the covid pandemic but the staff has done an outstanding job to keep residents safe and engaged. "First of all my Husband) Donald Watson was only there for 2 1/2 weeks before he passed away He was transferred from Hilltop facility in Winchester, Virginia, which was horrible. From the time he got to Poets Walk, the staff there was absolutely amazing. He was also on hospice and they were right on top of everything. Patrick, Director of nursing, was there with all questions and was physically there and helped us through my husband's passing. The Care from Cheyanne to Jody, head of nutrition/cook make sure that we were so well taken care of when we had to spend several days with my husband, not being able to leave because of his declining condition. Heather and administration was so kind and so helpful that to be honest with you. I so wish that he would've been there when he had to go into a memory care facility back in July and had that happened. "My father was a resident at this assisted living facility, and overall the care staff was wonderful. The facility also struggled for a long time without steady leadership until the new Executive Director came shortly before my father moved. She was amazing and truly cared about both the residents and her staff. Her compassion and leadership made a noticeable difference. The caregivers, and the nurses truly cared about the residents and did an amazing job even sometimes having to cover the whole house alone. The activities became so much better compared to when he first moved in. The kitchen aide was clearly overworked due to short staffing, but he always stayed positive, hardworking, and kind to the residents. Some days the food was good, but there were also concerning problems.
