"La Siena has been amazing for my mom. She moved here from another facility that was just awful. La Siena has been amazing since day 1. She has been there close to a year now and loves every part of it. People are active (even though when you tour you see a lot of people in walkers - which was my mom's concern), happy and love attending the events. There is a good mix of ages and abilities and the staff and events cater to everyone. My mom walks her dogs around the property and by the canal with several other residents and attends daily events with others who come to her room to make sure she is aware of the event. "We just moved my disabled Veteran brother into Madison Meadows at 7211 N 7th St in Phoenix AZ. So far they are not living up to the expectations that we were given when we moved him in last month. He has terrible nerve pain in his neck, shoulders, arms and hands that leaves him debilitated at times. When he needs help, like a meal brought to him when he cannot get up from the bed and down to the cafeteria, he calls the office but cannot reach anybody to request that help occasionally. The manager even gave me his cell phone number to reach out to him if my brother or I cannot get anyone in the office. But all I can do is leave a message and wait for a return call. Meanwhile my brother goes without the meal. Sadly, if they persist in ignoring him, we will have to move him out to another place. Very disappointed so far." - Steve… Read more

"I am almost completely moved in. I like my apartment quite a bit having a kitchen fully equipped and a stack washer and dryer is what I am accustomed to. Administration staff is all very nice ,eager to help when you need them. Each resident that I have met has just been great. Lastly, the food is delicious. housekeeping staff is great! "A family member lives here and has mixed reviews. They like the community but don’t care much for the activities. The assisted living staff is efficient, caring and generally immediately available. They do, however, continually complain about the dining experience. The kitchen runs out of food, they have sometimes waited an hour to be served, the portions are small, and the food is mediocre (at best). "I don't recommend anyone move to this place, the other day my toilet was backed up and I kept telling the staff if they could send someone to plunge it for me so this went on for 4 days and I finally got so mad that I had to go down to the front desk and said just give me the plunger I'll do it myself so they finally sent someone up to plunge it and it took 2 seconds to plunge.the residents here are always asking you for cigarettes and a few seconds later they are outside smoking they have cigarettes but they would rather smoke yours . The other day I went to the front to sweep up most of cigarettes butts because it was starting to look nasty so when I was sweeping them up this one resident came outside to smoke and when this person was done smoking they threw their cigarettes butts on the floor right in front of me. I used to get sick like once every 3 years and now I get sick like once a month now the residents here get sick and touch everything and they have hand sanitizer stations all over the place but the residents here don't use them. The food here is like prison food the other day I ordered a breakfast burrito in the morning and they bought me a burrito with just eggs in it so I told the server to take it back and tell the cook I wanted a real breakfast burrito not just a burrito with just eggs in it and I waited for a half hour and they never came back so I got tired of waiting so I just got up and left" - Christopher… Read more
