"The administrator thinks she is above the law. She breached my confidentiality and called me a drunk to staff and residents. She is unprofessional and immature. She takes everything personally and behaves like a child." - Robert

"My husband and I resided at Aston Gardens and left due to weak management, residents that bullied others, no conduct code in place for these residents and large rent increases. The salon on the grounds was a separate business so I was told by the ladies in the salon that I was more than welcome to come in and get my hair done. Because we had written an honest review, the management decided to behave childishly by forbidding me to use their salon. The person who ran the salon was saddened and embarrassed at such a petty demand. I have to say that this tells one a great deal about the vindictiveness on the part of management. One might want to rethink whether or not this might be the best choice when Florida offers so many options for seniors." - Susan…

"Not all apartments have washer/dryers. Only the multi bedroom apartments have them. My family liked the fact that there was a physical therapy room should I ever need it. What potential residents don't know is the physical therapy room is contracted out to a particular company. If they aren't contracted with your insurance, you can't use the room nor bring in your own contracted therapists. The food leaves a great deal to be desired. How, the mgmt and other employees are attentive and caring. I love my one bedroom apartment." - Jeanne…

The figures below show the average monthly starting costs for independent living of nearby cities. Keep in mind that these figures are an average, and that the numbers used to calculate it spanned a wide range. In fact, CareScout data suggests that most families will underestimate their monthly budget by almost 20%, meaning that once inclusions and services are factored in, they can actually afford more than they originally thought.
