"Recently I had the opportunity to tour Harper's Station Yorktown and I was very impressed. The staff was friendly and informative. There are several room layouts for Independent Living making it easy to adjust to your new home. Additionally, I toured Assisted Living rooms which also were very accomodating as well as the Memory Care units. But the additional facility amenities put Harper's Station into the exceptional category. Game rooms, daily social gatherings, daily events, a swimming pool and more. Plus there is an on-site physical therapist and nurse practioner...why you never or barely need to leave the grounds. However, if you do, Harper's Station is conveniently located near many stores and services. I would encourage you to take a tour, you won't be sorry." - P… Read more

"My sister -in-law moved in and middle of winter storms. Sales staff Olivia has been amazing to work with. She has helped coordinate all the details large and small. (In middle of ice storm). All staff has be so welcoming. My sister-in-law loves all the activities, the food is wonderful, the bistro is an added bonus in case you want to go grab something for a late breakfast or early lunch. Happy hour is amazing with music , finger foods and drinks. She said if you go hungry around there, it has to be your own fault cause the food is amazing and there’s food at every event. She has made so many new friends and when you walk in if there’s a staff that approaches them, they know their name. I walked in one time and a staff member was helping her find a book in the library. You will not find a more caring beautiful place. "A family member moved in in the spring of 2026. The facility itself is beautiful. Apartments are spacious, bright, and comfortable. The facility manager was very communicative about getting the apartment ready for loved one. The dining room experience is very hit-or-miss, which is very disappointing for the price residents pay. The dining room is understaffed for the number of people they serve at many meals, especially on weekends. It seems the menu is standard across all RUI-assisted living communities the company owns. The community board has repeatedly expressed its disappointment, but the food situation has not improved. "My mother moved into the community about three months ago, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how things have gone. From the beautiful surroundings to the overall atmosphere, everything has been wonderful. The food has been amazing. They have daily specials, fresh soups, and different catches every day, which my mother really enjoys. She also loves happy hour, and I especially enjoy being able to join her for it. The pool has quickly become her favorite part of the community, and she absolutely loves the water Tai Chi. It’s been great seeing her stay active, meet people, and truly enjoy this new chapter. Nothing is perfect, but in my opinion, this is one of the best options you’ll find in the area.
